EliteFTS® Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: August 5, 2025
EliteFTS.com Inc. ("EliteFTS," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to providing a website, mobile experience, and digital content that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively work to ensure compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and apply best‑practice accessibility standards in everything we build.
1 Our Accessibility Goals
-
Perceivable – Text alternatives for non‑text content (images, icons, audiovisual media) and sufficient color contrast.
-
Operable – Fully keyboard‑navigable menus, buttons, and forms; skip‑navigation links; logical focus order.
-
Understandable – Consistent navigation and clear, descriptive labels for links and controls.
-
Robust – Mark‑up and ARIA attributes that support assistive technologies (screen readers, switch devices, voice control, etc.).
2 Measures We Have Implemented
-
WCAG‑Driven Design & QA – Our Shopify theme and custom widgets are reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria during each release cycle.
-
Automated & Manual Testing – We use industry tools (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE) plus manual screen‑reader tests (NVDA, VoiceOver) to identify barriers.
-
Alt Text & Captions – Product images, article graphics, video, and podcast media are published with descriptive alt text or captions.
-
Accessible Rich Media – Embedded videos include closed captions and transcripts; podcasts link to transcript PDFs where available.
-
Semantic HTML & ARIA – Headings, landmarks, buttons, and form inputs follow semantic best practice; ARIA roles are added only when necessary.
-
Keyboard Focus Styles – Visible focus indicators are enabled and color‑contrast‑compliant.
-
Third‑Party App Vetting – We review and prefer Shopify apps that meet accessibility standards; non‑conforming apps are avoided or customised.
-
Staff Training – Content editors and developers receive periodic training on accessible authoring and testing.
3 Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We schedule quarterly audits and remediate issues promptly. As WCAG evolves (e.g., WCAG 2.2, WCAG 3.0 drafts), we will revise our standards to maintain or exceed the latest guidance.
4 Feedback & Assistance
We welcome accessibility feedback. If you encounter accessibility barriers or need information in an alternative format:

We aim to respond to accessibility inquiries within two business days. If you require immediate assistance with an order or workout resource, please call us and we will provide the information via your preferred method (phone, email, or accessible document).
5 Compatibility & Supported Technologies
This site is designed to work with the latest stable versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) on desktop and mobile operating systems. Some older browsers or custom settings may limit full functionality.
6 Limitations & Known Issues
We are aware that some legacy article PDFs (pre‑2012) and third‑party embedded widgets may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Legacy documents are being remediated on a rolling basis. If you need an inaccessible resource, contact us (Section 4) and we will prioritise remediation or provide an accessible alternative.
7 Enforcement & Formal Complaints
If you believe we have not adequately addressed your accessibility concern, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice or your local human‑rights agency. We encourage you to notify us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Thank you for helping us create an inclusive fitness community.
