So you can keep your fat buckethead outta the way. Without the cable in the way you can keep the bar path in a straight line between your mouth and the floor. Try to press straight like the bar is on a smith machine. This will take a ton of pressure off your tricep tendon and shoulders. DO NOT LET THE BAR SLIP OUT OF YOUR HANDS!!
