• SSB Box Squat: 205/225/245/265x3/285x13 PR!
  • Bent Row: 135/185/205/225/245x5
  • FBB Bench: 5x10@95
  • BB Shrugs: 5x10
  • Hammer Row: 2x25
I felt really tight and had trouble warming up. Guess I was ready to train because 285x13 is an all-time post-surgical PR. I went back and looked. This was pretty cool because I think it's going to help me stay focused long term. Without purposely trying to sound like a douche bag... The weight felt great. My lungs/heart rate were the reason I stopped the set. I felt great - barely breathing through rep 10. Rep 11 and 12 were a whole different story. Much like pushing the Prowler... Those who have truly pushed it know that you can finish 20-40 yards, stand up, take a few steps and think to yourself, " Wow, that wasn't bad at all..." Right as those words pop into your head your body betrays you and you get dizzy, light-headed, maybe nauseous... Well, that's what happened at rep 11-12. So, now I want to Squat 3 plates for 10 reps (new goal). In order to do this I think I need to get myself in great condition. If I can Squat 285x20 then 335x10 should be a joke - theoretically. Not a completely logical thought, but I'm going back to something I've heard Wendler say about Benching 500bs. Paraphrased: if you want to Bench 500, make sure you can Bench 450x10. Makes complete sense to me. Anyway, good day in the weight room.
