A couple weeks ago, I talked about
honesty. After a few months with one of my clients, she began to get real honest with herself and finally started seeing the results she wanted. As a coach, we can push, yell, scream, tell you to do things (or not do things), but in the end, the other 22 hours outside the gym each day are under your control. I can give you the knowledge, education and even tell you that you're delaying results by continuing bad habits, but it's ultimately up to you to make the decision to eat the right foods, go to bed on time and do all the other little things that lead to progress. While honesty with yourself is extremely important (sometimes we call that "taking ownership"), this other key factor is arguably the MOST IMPORTANT when it comes to progress. Whether that be: *weight loss *body transformation *increasing your lifts *running a marathon *playing a sport *learning a new skill/hobby No matter what happens, if you do this one thing, you'll make progress. If you fail one day, move on and keep trucking along.
