My training partner Jason and I are 4 weeks out from the same competition. If there's anyone that has pushed my squat to where it's at its this man. Jason practically taught my how to squat in gear. We have gone head to head in competition many times leaving us almost split in squat victories. Jason beat me to a grand, by one attempt that sob. We hit our first 1000lb squat in the same meet but he took it on his second attempt and I took in on my third. I did however beat him to 1100 though, got him there. We call him the Squat Demon cuz he looks absolutely possessed when he squats. Our training does not often line up but on this day we both landed on ME testing the waters for what we'll do on meet day. Here's how it went down.
