I moved back this week and have been lifting by myself in the middle of the day. I really haven't minded it that much, 'till today.
This was my first squat day since I moved back. I was feeling pretty good and kept hitting singles and moving up in weight. But.... I was by myself, power bar - not a squat bar, and no mono lift. I have definitely been spoiled in the past - regardless of gym I was at I had great training partners, my choice of squat bar, elitefts monolift, and the list goes on.
Squats: bar x 5 135x4 225x3 315x2 365x1 405x1 455x1 495x1 - Maverick Wraps on for this set and every set after this 545x1 585x1 - Definitely the most I've walked out in a long time, if not ever. With the bar I used, I could really feel the weights shaking on the way down, which made me nervous with no spotters. I probably cut it a little high, but it felt pretty good. I have finally started to feel tighter and brace harder in my setup.
