After sustaining multiple low back issues the past year, and coming off a terrible showing at the XPC Bench Bash, I'm now focused on training to improve my body and mind as I prepare for my wedding in June. I hope to be back on the platform towards the end of 2018.

With everything that I have had going on, I ended up having to take a week of from training and just trying to get things going. Adrian and I recently closed on our house, and I've officially got my space for my new training facility, Terre Haute Intensity Resistance and Sports Training (THIRST). I've been it the process of moving some of my stuff into my new home (although I won't live there until the wedding is over), and also moving all my equipment from the garage to the gym. I've still got a lot left to do, but it's a good start. Feel free to follow my Instagram account (@bsmitley) for updates on the gym and all the progress. If you're ever in the southern part of Indiana or over by Indy, contact me about coming to train some time!
