After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm taking the next 12-16 weeks to focus on hypertrophy training. My wife is beginning to diet to do a show within the next year, so I'm shifting this time to join in her footsteps for support. I'm hoping to compete again before the end of 2019.

Friday nights leg training crushed my glutes and quads. The split squats and single leg RDL's had me walking funny for a few days, and this was just a really good session that challenged me mentally. My family is going through a bit of a tough time right now with some health things, and I needed this evening to really just check out, turn the phone off, and get some hard work done. If you've never tried split squats with the cambered bar, you're in for a real treat.
