After sustaining multiple low back issues the past year, and coming off a terrible showing at the XPC Bench Bash, I'm now focused on training to improve my body and mind as I prepare for my wedding in June. I hope to be back on the platform towards the end of 2018.

Well after taking nearly a week off of training to focus on life, I was forced to take another additional two weeks off to focus on building my facility and moving stuff in the house. My job currently has had me working 50+ hours a week as well, so something had to give for just a brief period of time. The good news is that I've got all my equipment moved into the facility at this point, and we've acquired our 25 yard strip of turf and a ton of flooring, along with some other odds and ends. This training session probably should have waited a bit longer to happen, but I was just so stressed that I needed an outlet. I personally don't like taking a week off from training, let alone two weeks. But it's just what I need to do right now. Once the facility is up and running, I should be able to consistently get training in a bit more.

Shuffling your priorities around is very important, especially as I close in on my wedding day as well. The weights will always be here, but I only plan to have wedding day ever in my life :)
