8/14

6 Weeks Out from the NAPF/IPF Pan-Am Championships, and starting to feel good just in time. Hit a few RPE Pr's in Squat and Bench today, which was exactly what I needed. Had been feeling pretty run down the past couple of months in training, but patience and some Rest/Recovery seemed to be just the medicine I needed. It doesn't hurt that I'm getting to spend a couple of weeks training at my Texas gym of choice Metroflex Arlington. There's just something special about the atmosphere there, really hard to be anything but excited to lift when you're in there. No BS, no complaining, just a bunch of people excited to move heavy weight. Always grateful to the folks of Metroflex making me feel right at home as if I never left.
