So I’m pretty sure last week’s mid-week training felt off because I was getting sick. Whatever virus was using my body for its residence it was kicking my ass in the process. I really started feeling sick Thursday night and woke up Friday with what I believe was a full case of the flu. It whooped my but all weekend and continued till Wednesday of this week before it loosened its grip. I did zero training and little eating. Mostly bed fluids and sleep. I’m not good at being sick and wish for death most of the time I am sick. However I started feeling better Wednesday and by Thursday was about 85%. Friday about 93% and I decided to train today. Did some very basic light stuff but felt good to get out and move.

Warm-ups

Stationary bike (3 minutes), Indian club swings, hip rotations

Belt squat

1 plate per side for 2 sets of 10 reps

2 plates per side for 2 sets of 10 reps

3 plates per side for 2 sets of 10 reps

Reverse hypers

105 for 5 sets of 12 reps

Back attack

45 for 5 sets of 15 reps

Leg press-unilateral

Empty sled for 5 sets of 15 reps

Movement is good. Feeling better is better. Bodyweight was down 6 pounds.
