I feel like I've had a head cold for the last few days, but today I felt better when it was time to train after class got out, than I did when I woke up. I was very tight in places from my event training over the weekend though, and despite performing a thorough warmup when I got to the Unit, I had to cut back my volume a little on snatches even though they were pretty light.

Snatch

complex x 45

3x95

2x115

1x125

6x2x135 - Skipped the last 3 sets because I was so tight in the area of my right QL/SI and every set was adding to the funk in my trunk.

At this point I took about 15-20 min to try and mobilize the affected area because it felt heinous and I didn't know if I'd be able to do my tugging. I got things moving a little better, but I still couldn't tell how it was going to handle deads, so I figured I'd start easy and just take it one set at a time.

Banded Axle DL (bow and arrow style with 2 light bands)

3x90

3x180

2x270

1x320

4x3x350 - This was at the low end of the range of volume that I had in mind, but still within what I had allowed for with the increase in intensity.

SS: Log Clean & Jerk/Band Assisted Pullups

complex x 85/3xlight

complex x 135/3xlight

3x185/3xlight

2x235/3xlight

3x255/3xlight

3x255/3xmonster mini - Pullups were easy and I had no discomfort in my biceps so I switched to a smaller band

3x255/3xmonster mini

Prowler

8x100' x prowler+50 - Felt pretty good this week, even with the increase in distance.
