I'm currently in a off season style of training, trying to bring up weak points and improve body composition for the duration of the summer. At the end of summer I will reevaluate where I stand, and decide whether I would like to compete in the late fall, or wait until the XPC Finals in March of 2016.
For programming and coaching inquires, please email SmitleyPerformanceSystems@gmail.comTuesday was a decent training day. I was still feeling it a bit from Saturday's session in the hamstrings, but I pushed on. Usually after this day if I stay have any soreness it usually is gone the day after. I wasn't too thrilled with my squats, and I think being a bit tight had to do with that. All in all, it was just one of those days you chalk up that you just get through. However, my deadlifts are looking much better with the stance adjustment and minor technique changes. I'm doing a lot better job of setting my lats and keeping the bar incredibly close, which is allowing for a much better break from the floor. One more session, then some weekend training and coaching at elitefts!
