Sunday was another banded squat day at Apollon.

Last week, we worked up to a max with a strong and average band. Today, the goal was to only go up to 80% of that, to start deloading for the meet. Since I hit an even 500 last week, figuring out the percentage was easy, and my goal was 400. While I used both my brief and suit bottom last week, I stayed in just the brief here.

Bar x a bunch

Strong band x 5

Both bands x 3

100 x 1

150 x 1

200 x 1

240 x 1

290 x 1

330 x 1

365 x 1

400 x 1

The weight moved easy enough, but I could tell my hips were still a little beat up from last week. Glad to be done with bands! Next week will be super light, then the week after that will be the meet.

For assistance, it was 4 sets of 12 reverse hypers, Good girl/bad girls, and standing pulldown abs.
