I have my programming laid out for my grip work. At this stage of the game, the most critical piece is just regaining all the strength and hoping to top it off with some whip cream and sprinkles by the end of January. I love having Jedd in my corner and helping me stay accountable. The rest of my lifting will be down and dirty 5-3-1. In and out! This is my, "Good grief! I should be a door greeter at Walmart cuz it's way too cold to get out of bed at 4:00 am Season."

Grip Events/Goals For January Are:

1. Pull 300+ lb double overhand axle deadlift, reset my world record.

2. Certify on the COC 2.5, still chasing this. We have a plan!

3. Exceed the 1 minute mark with Silver Bullet Gripper Hold, reset my world record

4. Improve rolling thunder. I think I still have the American record on this, not totally sure. So if not, get it back and make slow gains towards the world record. That record has some serious staying power, it's like 173 lbs.

Jedd kindly pointed out that this list has remained for a couple years now. Righhhhht. Ouch.

The Split:

Squat/Gripper Day - Specifically chosen to be my longest training day of the week

OHP/Silver Bullet, Gripper sets Day

Deadlift

So there it is. Looking forward to being strong.
