In my most

recent AMA I was asked:

“Have you ever shit yourself while squatting?”

My answer was: “I did pass out while lying on the floor during a leg session, and I woke up in shit and piss.” Added notes to this: I also had the taste of vomit in my mouth and my throat was burning and hurt because I’m guessing I swallowed whatever came up. After a high-volume day of leg presses, and other @mountaindog1 training, I decided to add a challenge set of squats after the session was over. I ended up getting pissed because I didn’t get what I wanted and made a huge strip set out of it until I couldn't breathe anymore.
While not the training session this is about,

HERE is an example of one leg session with John. This is

another one that got a lot of attention.
Like an idiot, I didn’t walk it off, because my legs were cramping and I hit the floor breathing like a freight train. I woke up in what seemed like 20 minutes later, soaked in my own bodily fluid mess. I told John about this next time we trained, and the decision was made that I was no longer allowed to train legs in the gym alone again... and I haven’t. I’ll admit I have issues training alone - especially legs and pulls.

via GIPHY       I’m writing this because I’ve gotten many DMs on this AMA, and no, it’s not cool, it's fucking stupid. I’m pretty sure I gave myself a mini-stroke from this and I could have died. Others have from the same type of stupid shit. There is no doubt that when I train alone, I make bad decisions. Well, I still do when I train with others from time to time, but I’m pretty sure they would call 911 and several know CPR. They recently limited my bad decisions to 1 per session. This is not cool or even intelligent training. It falls under: "Shit I’ve always done for my own reasons that I DO NOT and would NEVER advise others to do." I keep and will keep looking for something that’s obviously not there. This crap is not hardcore but “stupid shit.” As I tell all those I help....   “NO STUPID SHIT” It's better to make others want to shit when they witness how awesome you are! Not, shitting yourself in a display of how not awesome you are. This was the dumbest thing I did in the gym that year. Be on the lookout for the dumbest thing I did in 2018.
You ever wonder what goes on in my head while in the gym? Check out my
