Our lifter were off today and def needed some rest we hammers them the last couple days a lot were complaint in soreness and being tired. After last week with testing most of my clients/teams/organizations we started this week off on main lifts reps of 8. 4's will follow next week then doubles the third week. We are transitioning to the summer program where a lot of college athletes come back to train and help push everyone to get better. For my self I did some overhead press with the new Westside buffalo bar, wide grip pull downs and push ups/band pull aparts. Feels great to start to feel my body start to take shape again. I am about 20-25lbs from where I would like to be before the heart transplant. There is no timeline for this they could call me tomorrow or in a year. Just doing what I can control till then-get to best shape possible and be ready for a small detour. Am thinking surgery will keep me in hospital for couple weeks, then will be feeling rough for a few weeks. After the 3-4 month post surgery I should be able to pick back up where i left. I constantly think about and plan my next meet. I still have the comp nerve in me that won't go away.
