Seated DB Military

Category: Supplemental, Accessory

Muscles Targeted: Shoulders

The seated DB military is a great way to develop overall shoulder strength. To do this exercise, sit on a 90 degree bench and bring the dumbbells up to your shoulders. With your elbows slightly tucked, press the dumbbells overhead. To make it less stressful on your shoulders, begin doing the exercise with your palms facing each other.

Do not lean back and turn it into an incline.

As for sets and reps, I recommend doing 3-5 sets of 8-20 reps. This is usually done as a second or third exercise for the day.
