I’m currently in meet prep for the 2015 IPA Grand Prix Nationals at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on October 24th, in Columbus, Ohio. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps.

I'm pretty much slowly ramping my conditioning work down so that I can peak right for the meet. I'm still going to try to do a little bit of something here and there, but it's going to slowly drop off. Nothing all that exciting and just trying to maintain the conditioning I've built so I don't "gas out" at the meet. I hate it when I see people post things on social media about how they were exhausted or gassed out at the meet. I know we're powerlifters, but if you can't make it through a whole meet, I think you really need to understand that building up some quality GPP in the off season and leading up to the meet is going to help you. There is no reason to be brutally strong if you can't display that strength over the course of a whole day.

Friday, September 25th, 2015 None for the day. I decided to just take the day off and relax a bit as I knew I would be traveling the next day to get to Elitefts and wanted to be as fresh as possible.
