The main goal for this meet is to hit a 2000lb total since I fell short of obtaining this at the 2016 XPC Finals. My game plan is pretty simple, be conservative in the beginning, be aggressive in the later attempts. For me, getting my confidence up (such as hitting an easy opener) is huge for my mental well-being during a meet. The smoother my attempts, the more confident I am to move some heavier weight.

Squat I'm opening with a conservative 750. I've hit this in training more times than I can count so I know this will move fast and be an easy lift. I plan on then jumping to 825ish to get a small PR then depending on how easy that is, make a jump to 845-860. It'll be a game time decision. 825 will keep me on track for a 2k total.

Bench I will need at least a 550 bench to keep me on track for 2k following my squat. I'm opening around 525 and will make a jump straight to 550ish based on how easy my opener was or how difficult it'll be getting the bar down to my chest. My third will be based on how easy my second attempt is, but probably nothing crazy so I can pad my deadlift as much as possible.

Deadlift Since the deadlift has been a bitch for me for the last couple years, I'm opening with a very conservative 580 to get my confidence up. I'm going to take whatever I need to get 2k on my second attempt to seal the deal and possible get a little extra on my third OR use my third as a back up for my second attempt in case for some reason I miss it.

I feel perfect going into this meet and I have a feeling everything will come together the way we've been planning.
