I’m currently in off season mode working on bringing up certain qualities and weaknesses I noticed from the IPA Grand Prix Nationals. This training will be laying the ground for my training cycle into the 2016 XPC Finals.

Wednesday was my second mini session of the week, with this one being an emphasis on my lower body. The goal here was to get some blood flow moving and continue to bring up some weak points. You'll notice I kicked the session off with some Anderson squats. This was because I was having issues staying tight in position in the hole at the IPA meet. The weight used was hardly anything, but just really reinforcing good positioning, back tightness, and exploding up out of the straps. This actually felt really good and I felt like I was really able to hammer my positioning. Another plus was that it's a concentric only movement, so it's not going to beat me up. Everything else was just super light to get a good sweat. As I predicted this session took me about 50 minutes from warm up to completion. Really good productive "in and out" day.
