*11 Weeks Out from Lexen Xtreme Fall Classic*

Today's max effort movement was Close Stance SSB Good Mornings for Triples. Originally the plan was to do SSB Box Squats this week for max effort, but I had to train late when our facility was closed and didn't have spotters, so I went with the Good Mornings since I could lift off the pins without a spotter. I set these in a position similar to my deadlift stance, to really work on starting strength from that tough position. I followed this will SSB Low Box Squats for sets of 5 as my supplemental movement. Overall things went well, I definitely need to get my lats tighter on the good mornings, and my buddy Christian Anto gave me a few cueing suggestions that should help for next time. This weekend I will be taking some full gear squats around 90%, so I'm looking forward to getting some weight on my back and working on some things.
