Building, building, building..... After some distractions that forced me away from my training, I am so pleased to be back to the gym and focusing on rebuilding and shattering some very specific grip goals in late January 2016. I am eager to rebuild and continue moving forward with competing, being a business owner and enjoying the off season for my minions while they get back into the gym, work with their coaches and make every training day count.

Late this year I completely switched paths saying I had grip goals I wanted to accomplish and just left it at that. I specifically did not share details, I did not want to ruin the Christmas surprise.

I plan on competing at the LA FitExpo in January at the Odd Haugen Strength Classic. Sort of. There is not an official women's division for strongman or grip. Odd has been kind enough to allow me to join the fun and attempt to reset some women's world grip records. At that point, I turned my grip programming over to Jedd which has gone very well.

The events:

Double Overhand Axle Deadlift Silver Bullet Rolling Thunder I am also working hard to be the first woman to certify on the COC 2.5. Mas Wrestling is likely NOT going to happen. If I do, it will be a very last minute decision.

The other parts of the trip are some business visits and Disneyland. 2015 was such a sucky year, it's nice to start 2016 fresh, with some specific goals, fun and enjoying time hanging out with the kids. I am currently studying my Disneyland app with all of the rides, wait times and developing a plan of action. I have required we all start training (walking) cuz there will be no room for resting, complaining or anything other than HAPPY and JOY!

A positive addition to the family late this year was Kylee The Pig. She is so stinking cute, loves riding in the car and going to the gym. To be honest I was horrified when The Girl approached me asking for a pig. Blech. The conversation changed when she suggested I could dress the pig up and harness her in the back of my Wrangler during the summer with the top off. I'm a softie cuz those things were game changers and suddenly Kylee is my BFF.

Here she is in her Christmas dress, however sadly she outgrew it before Santa's visit. No worries, I can't wait to have a 200 lb pig running towards me with nothing but pure love and happiness exuding her being, ready to knock me over thinking there's a snack in my hand. She's awfully cute.
