Tonight was a doozy. I weighed my self after work and I was 266. This was cool as I'm actually almost training at the weight I'll compete at. I'm sick of killing a meet cycle at a heavy weight and then screwing it up with a weight cut. My fear after nationals was that I would yoyo back up to 280. I have been smart though and am only 1.5 lbs away at a mid day weight. Weigh ins will be at 12pm so I need to be down to 262 or so meet morning to be able to have a productive day of eating and drinking for meet day. The down side is that my strength is down. I hate that but nationals isn't about PRs. It's about making attempts and being smart.
